We go to great lengths to safeguard the privacy of your personal information and the security of the funds entrusted to us. All clients’ funds are kept in a segregated bank account separated from the Company’s own funds, as required by the applicable legal framework. The Company, as a regulated broker, is a member of the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF), set up by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), to accept claims of covered clients, for compensation, in the event that the Company is unable to meet its financial obligations. CySEC

MAXIFLEX LTD is registered as a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) with Registration Number HE327484. It is authorized and regulated as a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), under the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2007 (Law 144(I)/2007), and subject to CySEC Rules. The CySEC Regulatory Registration for MAXIFLEX LTD is 258/14.

MiFID II

EuropeFX complies with the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II). MiFID II provides a harmonised regulatory environment for investment services across the European Economic Area (EEA). The main objectives of the MiFID II Directive are to enhance financial transparency, increase competition, and offer greater consumer protection in investment services.

I.C.F

In compliance with Law 144(I)/2007, the Company is a member of the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF) covering Clients of Cyprus Investment Firms (CIFs).

The objective of the ICF is to secure claims by covered Clients against Cyprus Investment Firms through payment of compensation in cases where the member of the Fund is unable to do so from its own resources.

Segregated Funds​

All client funds, without exception, are kept in fully segregated accounts, completely separate from our corporate funds and accounts. All funds, regardless of classification, are placed in licensed and regulated financial institutions.

Investor Compensation

Our membership of the Investor Compensation Fund for Cyprus Investment Firms offers you an extra level of security. The ICF was set up by the Central Bank of Cyprus, to accept compensation claims from covered clients, in the event the CIF is unable to meet its financial obligations.

Risk Management​

One of the most common traits among successful traders is a consistent risk management policy. EuropeFX has negative balance protection on all accounts. While this does reduce the risk of a client trading account falling into negative equity, trading does still involve significant risk which you should be aware of.

Our CySEC Authorisation

CySEC (The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission) is the independent regulatory body responsible for overseeing and supervising the financial services industry in the Republic of Cyprus.

Investment Services

  • Reception and transmission of orders in relation to one or more financial instruments
  • Execution of Orders on Behalf of Clients
  • Portfolio Management
  • Investment Advice

Ancillary Services

  • Safekeeping and administration of financial instruments, including custodianship and related services
  • Granting credits or loans to one or more financial instruments, where the firm granting the credit or loan is involved in the transaction
  • Foreign exchange services where these are connected to the provision of investment services
  • Investment Research and financial analysis or other forms

MiFID Authorisations

MiFID, the Markets In Financial Instruments Directive is a European Union legal framework that regulates financial services companies within the EU. Under MiFID companies regulated in one country within the EU are passported to offer cross-border investment services to other member states within the EU.

MiFID was enacted into Cypriot legislation with the passing of Law 144(I) of 2007, under which, EuropeFX is authorised to offer cross-border services to all Member States, including but not limited to the following: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands.
