What is Copytrading?

Copytrading allows you to monitor the trading activity of professional traders, and emulate it when you are opening, updating, or closing your own trades. You can follow the experts’ trades and signals through the ZuluTrade Platform. All you have to do is select the traders you wish to follow and ZuluTrade will automatically mimic their trading activity in your own account.

What is ZuluTrade?

ZuluTrade is the Leading Social Autotrading Platform in Forex, CFDs, and Cryptocurrencies. Using this platform, you can automatically mimic the trading activity of successful Traders from all over the world, without having to constantly monitor and study the markets.

How does Zulutrade Work?

Can I also trade manually?

Absolutely, as long as you have a Classic account!
With ZuluTrade, you can:
1) Open trades via the Trade tab of your account or the trading platform.
2) Monitor, edit, and close your trades under the Positions tab.
3) Review your trading activity by clicking on the History tab.
4) You can also edit or close the trades that mimic the traders you follow, thus having full control of your account.

What are the differences between Copytrading and Manual Trading?

Manual trading is executed when you open and close positions manually. Copy trading allows you to filter and copy the strategies of successful traders, while adhering to your risk parameters and settings. Trades are automatically executed in your account and you can modify or close orders as you wish.

Will Manual trading conflict with the Copytrading?

No, executed Manual and Copy trades are reported separately in your account. You can identify them in your history as manual orders and orders initiated as per the trader followed, respectively.

How can I learn to optimally set up my account and discover the best traders for me?

There is no better way to do this than the Simulator ( function, available in your ZuluTrade account. The Simulator is a powerful tool that allows you to test the performance of any of our traders against different settings in your account, so that you can experiment and find out the best settings for each trader according to your interests

My demo account has expired, what do i do?

If you wish to continue testing the Platform and experimenting with different Traders, you are very welcome to open another Demo account. You may open up to 10 Demo accounts with a single e-mail address, and, for users in a more experimental mood, a good idea might be to open different Demo accounts with different parameters (leverage, equity, base currency) or apply different settings in each account and compare them, so as to reach a better decision about what kind of Real account might be best for you.

I have followed a trader and there is no activity in my trading account why is this happening?

Please note that Zulutrade does not have high frequency traders and that only new trades placed by the master will open in the followers account.

Auto Trading

Which Auto-Trading Platforms does EuropeFX offer?

EuropeFX offers Mirror Trader and RoboX. Both are advanced multi-functional trading platforms that allow users to auto-trade in the Forex and CFD markets, through advanced algorithmic trading strategies. Trading Strategies are generated based on the client’s profile, which is assessed during the registration process.

What is an Investment Account?

An Investment Account includes trading activities outside of manual trading. These are trades that are opened automatically by our Automated Trading Platforms on the client's behalf.

Who is Auto-Trading for?

EuropeFX offers Auto-Trading as a long-term investment option to clients that have little time available to trade manually, or to those who want to diversify their trading experience by adopting algorithmic strategies created by professional traders.

What do I need to get started?

All our Auto-Trading Platforms are web-based. This means that you can access your Investment Account from anywhere and from any device that supports a browser. For optimal performance, we recommend using Google Chrome.

How do I gain access to EuropeFX's Auto-Trading Platforms?

Once you have been accepted as a EuropeFX client, you can request access to our Investment Platform. Upon completion of a brief questionnaire, the Portfolio Management Department will be able to determine if this service is suitable for you and provide you with an appropriate risk classification.

Is the system fully automated?

Yes, once you have added and enabled the preferred strategy to your portfolio, the platform will operate 100% automatically. The options of manually closing trades, and setting Stop-Loss and Take-Profit orders are available.

How much do I need to Invest?

The initial deposit requirement is €2,000 for Mirror Trader, and €10,000 for RoboX. In terms of trading volume, you can trade from 0.01 lot size per trade with RoboX, and 0.05 lot per trade with Mirror Trader.

How long will it take to see results?

These investment products focus on trading the most active cycles and trends - the duration of which fluctuates each year. As a result, it may take a few weeks for your account to start showing potential returns. The performance of each strategy can be viewed or monitored in the historical performance environment, which is available within the platforms.

What is the cost of operating an Investment Account?

There are no additional costs associated with EuropeFX's Auto-Trading Platforms.

How many strategies can I select?

This is subject to your risk classification and available balance.

How does Mirror Trader work?

The Mirror Trader platform allows traders to view, analyze, and evaluate the signals it provides. The trader can then execute these in their own account.

How does RoboX work?

RoboX has access to a large database of trading strategies. Using its unique algorithm, RoboX offers trading strategy packages updated with the latest information.

What is the difference between Mirror Trader and RoboX?

Both platforms are based on algorithms that provide an unrestricted and holistic trading experience. Our Mirror Trader Platform is ideal for a smooth transition into the world of auto-trading. It offers the choice of single strategies with an accessible initial investment capital. Our RoboX Platform is aimed at more experienced investors, offering strategy packages based on risk appetite and enhanced performance expectations.

What are the main benefits of using the Auto-Trading Platforms?

The main advantages of Auto-Trading are related to speed, accuracy, and reduced costs. Strategies are predetermined and executed automatically. The speed at which these trades are made is measured in fractions of a second - faster than humans can perceive. Also, trading with algorithms has the advantage of scanning and executing on multiple indicators at very high speeds, offering more opportunities and better prices. The accuracy of an order executed on an automated system removes the margin for error that exists on manual trading. For example, accidentally putting in the wrong trade, buying the wrong currency pair, or inputting the wrong amount etc. Similarly, automated trading saves time. Traders don't need to spend as much time monitoring the markets, looking for the right opportunity. One of the biggest advantages of auto-trading is the ability to remove human emotion. Emotions such as fear or greed can lead to irrational or spasmodic decisions statistically resulting in an undesirable outcome. What is AML?

AML (anti-money laundering) refers to all policies and legislation that necessitate financial institutions to proactively monitor their clients in order to prevent money laundering and corruption. These laws require financial institutions to report any financial crimes and do everything possible to stop them. Due to these measures, we cannot alter or make changes to your funds. Deposits must always go back to the original source they came from. We kindly ask that you contact us before making any third party deposits, so that we can provide you with the available options for doing so.

Getting Started - Support Department

What supporting documents do I need to provide to become a client?

You need to provide the following documentation:

  • A valid copy of your Passport, ID Card, or Driving License.
  • A recent utility bill or bank statement (dated < 6 months).
  • National insurance number / Tax identification number.

Why do I need to submit my documents for account validation?

These documents allow us to verify that the information you provide is valid. Since we are a financial institution, we are required to run AML and Anti-Terrorism checks on our clients.

How long does it take to verify my profile?

Once you have uploaded the documents, verifying your information can take up to 24 hours. Your account will be active approximately 30 minutes after all documentation has been received, provided this occurs during office working hours.

Do I need to download any software before I start trading?

You can start trading with our web-based EuroTrader Web and MT4 WebTrader. However, you can choose to download the MT4 platform for more options.

Can I open an account with a different identification document instead of my passport?

  • You can provide us with a copy of your ID card or driving license. However, a passport is a preferred documentation.
  • If you are based outside the EE, you are obliged to upload your passport, or both ID card and driving license.

What can I do if don't have a utility bill in my name?

You can request a statement from your bank or from your local city hall.

I am getting an error message while trying to upload my documents. What should I do?

You can send your documents directly to [email protected] Alternatively, you can contact our Support Team via [email protected] and request alternative methods for sending your details.

Do I need to upload my documents again if I open a new trading account and my first account was already validated?

The only documents required are proof of payments if made by bank wire or a copy of a new credit card used, and the declaration of deposit sent to you digitally after every deposit.

Can I update my personal information?

You can update your personal information by contacting our Support Team as we will need new documentation proving these changes.

Where can I find my login details?

The login details are sent to you via email upon registration.

How can I reset my EuropeFx password?

You can reset your password by following these simple steps:
1. Log in to EuropeFX
2. Enter your email address
3. Click the Forgot Password button
4. A link will be sent to your email address, click it to be redirected back to EuropeFX
5. Click the Reset button
6. Create a new password
Keep your password in a safe place and do not disclose it to any third parties.

How can I change my existing password?

You can change your password by following these simple steps:
1. Log into the Client Area
2. Click the Password button
3. Enter your current password, followed by your new password

How can I unsubscribe from emails?

Simply click the Unsubscribe button at the bottom of one of our emails.

What is the questionnaire?

The questionnaire will give us an understanding of your experience in the financial markets and your knowledge of the risks involved.

Can I retake the questionnaire?

You will not be able to retake the questionnaire. Please make sure that the information you provide is accurate.

Do you accept USA clients?

We do not accept clients from the USA.

What is the minimum age requirement to start investing with EuropeFX?

You must be 18 years old or above to open a EuropeFX account.

How do I scan my documents?

You can scan documents using any iOS / Android device. Follow the steps below.

For iOS users:
1) Open the Notes application on your device.
2) Tap on the camera icon and select Scan Documents.
3) Position the camera over the document you want to scan and tap to capture.
4) Once the document is clear and in focus, select Keep Scan followed by Save.

For Android users:
1) Open Google Drive and tap the (+) icon.
2) Under the Create New , select Scan.
3) Position the camera over the document you want to scan and tap to capture.
4) Once the document is clear and in focus, tap the tick symbol to keep the scan.
5) When you finish scanning the document,
tap Save and name the document.
Select the folder you wish to save it in, and tap Save again.

How can I change my registered email address?

You can change your email address by contacting our Support Team ([email protected]) using the following template:

Trading Accounts - General Information

How can I open an additional trading account?

In the Client Area's dashboard. Click the New button that is beneath Live & Demo accounts.

How can I start trading?

As soon as your documents have been approved, and your account has been opened, you can start trading.

How do I open a demo account and how long can I use it for?

You can open a demo account in the Client Area. The demo account expires 30 days after registration.

What currency can I open an account in?

You can open an account in EUR/USD/GBP.

Can I change the base currency of my account?

No. However, you can open a new account at any time with the base currency of your choice.

Is it possible to lose more money than I deposited?

No, you cannot lose more money than the amount you deposited due to negative balance protection.

Where are my funds kept?

All client funds are kept in segregated European accounts. Meaning, that the clients' funds are kept separate from the company’s funds.

How can I monitor my EuropeFX trading account?

There are multiple ways to monitor your trading account(s). MT4 (Windows, Mac, Web Terminal), EuroTrader, eFXGO (mobile iOS App), or the dashboard in the Client Area.

Do you have trading tutorials?

Why can’t I log in to my trading account?

  • Please ensure you are using the correct username and/or password.

What is leverage? What leverage do you offer?

Leverage is the multiplication of your balance. The maximum leverage offered to our clients is 1:30. For more information, please contact your account manager. More information related to leverage per asset can be found here:

Can I change my leverage? If yes, how?

Based on a new regulation from the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), only professional account holders have the option of 1:200 leverage. For more information, please click here.

Can EuropeFX trade on my behalf?

No, we do not provide this service to our clients. However, we do provide automated trading solutions such as Mirror Trader and RoboX. For more information, please click here.

How can I close my account?

To close your account, simply send us a written confirmation by email and we will process your request as soon as possible.

Will you close my real account if it has a zero balance?

We only proceed with account closures once the client has instructed us to do so.

Is there an inactivity fee if I don't use my account?

If no trades are made within three calendar months, the account status will become Inactive. Inactive accounts incur a fixed charge of 25 EUR/USD/GBP per month. For more information, visit our Terms and Conditions.

Do you close my open positions and placed orders if I go offline?

We never close your positions, this is up to you. You can close them manually, or by placing Stop-Loss or Take-Profit orders.

How do I schedule private sessions with my dedicated analyst?

Contact your Account Manager to schedule a session with your dedicated analyst.

How does EuropeFX decide its rates?

The rates are decided by our liquidity providers.

What is a 'Rollover' in Futures trading?

In Futures trading, the transition of an expiring Futures contract to a new Futures contract is called a 'Rollover'. The client can choose to either close their position or to roll it over to a future date based on the new contract price, until the next cycle of expiration. A Profit/Loss adjustment will apply according to the spread at the time of rollover, meaning the difference in price between the old contract and new one. Trades which are not rolled over will be automatically closed upon expiry and Profit/Loss at the time of closing will be adjusted accordingly.

What is the 'Close Only' date of a Rollover?

When a 'Close Only' option appears, you will only be able to close your exisiting positions on the CFD contract but not open new ones. New trades can be opened on new CFD contracts, which are available for trading.

What is the 'Expiration Date' of a rollover?

The 'Expiration Date' represents the day on which a CFD or Futures contract expires. Upon expiry, any existing open trades will be closed by EuropeFX and the Profit/Loss at the time of closing will be adjusted as per the trading account.

Do any fees apply for a rollover request?

No. Although, when a position rollover is about to take place, a negative or positive adjustment of the Profit/Loss will apply according to the spread at the time of rollover, and the price of the old contract and new one. This adjustment will appear in your Trading Account as Rollover Adjustment and will be credited to/debited from the trading account equity. This could lead to Margin-Call or Stop-out.

Trading Tools – Calculations

What is margin / margin level / free margin? How do I calculate it?

Margin is the amount needed to open or maintain a position, in the base currency of the trading account.
To calculate margin for Forex: Number of Lots x Contract size ÷ Leverage.
To calculate margin for CFDs: Number of Lots x Contract size x Opening Price ÷ Leverage.
To calculate margin level: Equity ÷ Margin x 100%.
Free margin represents the available funds that you use for opening new positions, or for maintaining existing positions.
To calculate free margin: Equity – Margin.

What is a Stop-Loss order and how do I activate it?

A Stop-Loss is an order that allows you to set a limit point on the price of an asset. Once this limit point is reached, your position will be closed. This order is designed to protect the client from incurring high losses; however, it is common for the client to close a previously opened position at a price less profitable than the market price.
You can activate the order while opening a new position (New Order > Stop-Loss) or by modifying an already open position.

What is Take-Profit and how do I activate it?

Take-Profit is an order that allows the client to close a position when the asset has reached a specific price. This order allows clients to maximize their profits.

Do you have slippage?

Slippage hardly ever occurs if you trade with us. However, your order may be executed at a different rate than requested due to volatile price movements (especially after important economic news are released).

What is a swap?

A swap is an interest or rollover fee that clients get charged for keping a position open overnight. Swap is calculated based on the open position; however, swap is charged at triple rate from Wednesday to Thursday.

How do I calculate swaps?

To calculate swaps: (Contract Size x Lot Size x Market Price x Swap Rate ÷ 360) ÷ 100.

What is the Profit Calculation for CFDs?

To calculate profit on CFDS: (Close Price - Open Price) x Lots x Contract Size

Deposits Information

What is the minimum first time deposit?

The minimum deposit is 200 EUR/USD/GBP.

How can I deposit funds into my account(s)?

There are multiple ways to deposit funds into your account(s), including E-Wallet, Credit/Debit card, and bank wire transfers. For more information, please click here.

How long will it take for my deposit to be processed?

The length of time it takes to process a deposit depends on the transfer method used. E-Wallet and Credit/Debit card transfers are usually processed straight away, while bank wire transfers can take up to 48 hours.

I made a deposit during the weekend/bank holiday, when will it be processed?

All deposits made during the weekend/bank holiday will be processed according to the standard processing time for each payment method.

Can I deposit funds from a country other than my country of residence?

Yes. However, extra documentation is required as per AML regulations.

Can I deposit from a joint account?

EuropeFX does not accept joint accounts.

Can I deposit to my personal trading account using a corporate account?

No, corporate account deposits are not allowed. Please contact our Support Team for more information in regards to Corporate Accounts.

Can I deposit using a payment method that is not in my name?

No, 3rd party transactions are prohibited.

Why was my deposit request declined?

There are multiple reasons as to why this may occur, for more information, please contact our Support Team by sending an email to [email protected].

Are there any deposit fees?

EuropeFX does not charge any processing fees for account deposits.

Withdrawals Information

What is the minimum and maximum amount that I can withdraw?

The minimum amount you can withdraw is 1 EUR/USD/GBP. The maximum amount you can withdraw is the available equity you have in your account.

Are there any withdrawal fees?

Can I withdraw my money whenever I want?

Yes, you can place a withdrawal request whenever you want. However, please note that having open trading positions might affect the withdrawal.

How long does it take to receive the money after I submit a withdrawal request?

We will process the request within 24 hours, and refund the sum using the same method you used for depositing it. Please note that credit card transactions usually take up to 48 hours, while bank wires can take up to 10 business days.

Is it possible to transfer money from my trading account to my friend’s/relative’s account?

No, the AML regulations that we adhere to prohibit third party transactions.

Can I transfer money between my own trading accounts?

Yes, you can do so by utilizing the Transfer button on your dashboard.

Can I withdraw using a different method than the one that I used to deposit?

No, if you deposited a sum of money using a credit card, the refund will also be processed through your credit card. However, any sum accumulated as a profit will be sent via bank wire - therefore, you must always have your bank information updated in the Client Area.

How do I cancel my withdrawal request?

In the Withdrawal section of the Client Area, you can click on the Cancel button next to the request. Please note that this is only possible if the request hasn’t already been processed.

Why was my withdrawal request declined?

There are multiple reasons why this can happen. Typically, its because of insufficient funds due to open positions, or incorrect bank information. Whatever the case, we will always contact our clients and inform them accordingly.
